LATERA® is an absorbable nasal implant used to support the cartilage of the nose. It is inserted into the nose to open the nasal passageways internally.
Symptoms of nasal valve collapse, such as trouble breathing and congestion, can be significantly lowered with this treatment.
The implant is absorbed over a period of 18 months. After 12 months, localized tissue forms over the implant and reinforces the structure.
